Tips to crack Ielts

Hi friends...

This post is especially dedicated to Saijyothi kotamraju and Anup Gautam who ask me to help in IELTS EXAM.

Nowadays Toefl exam are not valuable today because some people those who don’t know English are getting more marks by doing fraudulent activities and some university are not accepting Toefl in these days.
Moreover Toefl is written in American English but Ielts is written in British English. We Indians are familiar with British English. So you choose the right decision but in later. Ok leave it.

It’s very simple to score 6 above in Ielts. I got 6.5. Let me show you how…

Before that answer my 3 questions?
1. Are you interested in studying alone (lonely inside a room with pc and headset)?
2. Do you put some hard effort (only for 10-15 days) to get more marks in Ielts?

Then scroll below otherwise leave it.

First download Ielts book 6, 7 and 9 with audio.  (If you can’t get the link I will send the links also). Ielts book 8 will be given to you freely by post from head British council of your state when your registration is completed.

Then start studying by using these materials for 3-4 hours per day 15 days before the test date.
Start studying Ielts 9 and then 8, 7, 6. So you feel more comfortable when revising.
And try to complete a single book in 3 days. Spend 1 day for listening, 1 day for reading and 1 day for speaking and writing.   (1 day = 3 hours, especially evening. So totally 45 hours to study)

Try to concentrate more on Listening section because you can easily score 8 in that section.

1st 10 questions will be easy and then the difficult range will be increased.

Take 3 hours for Ielts9 book and complete all test from 1 to 4 with regular break.
Concentrate by using tape scripts given at back of the book.  While doing write a test on your own and evaluate yourself. Try to get more than 32 for 40. Use head phones to concentrate more.

Then go for writing and read the workout samples given at the back of the book. Try to think of yourself and don’t mug up the lines. You will loss mark for that.

Try to write 175 words in section 1 and 280 words in section 2. You can use additional sheet if you need. That will be provided by hall superintend.

Try to use normal words with grammar and use appropriate punctuation. Don’t use pens. Use only pencil to write the exam because you can erase if you goes wrong.

Now go for speaking, don’t omit this section and don’t think that “I will speak very well”. The speaking exam will be conducted on next day or two day after that test.

And the total conversation will last for 15 minutes(+3 mins) between you and your examiner(only 1 examiner will be there) and that will be recorded for evaluation.Mainly start your conversation with telling your full name (First + Last) don't tell your first name alone. The examiner will strictly handle this issue. Don't do this mistake because i did this.

Take practice for speaking because on that day you may feel nervous. Be planned when you go for speaking test. Try to be ready for basic question. The examiner will ask “Tell me about yourself” and speak that for 5 minutes. So you can plan well before answering this question.

Now go for Reading it is the toughest part of Ielts and 1st 13 questions will be easily answered. If you got bored about reading then leave it. But read other things like newspaper or books and translate the news present on the paper to others like your friend or family in your own language. It is very simple to practice.

Then by using your Ielts number login to your Ielts account and use the “ROAD TO IELTS” section and utilize it. It also contains questions in different approach.

Before the exam be calm and cool. Hard work never fails and Success is in your foot try to grab in your hand.If you follow these you will definitely get 7 band & above in Ielts.

(If you get more mark by following these rules then reply your feedback to me at deepakviruu@gmail.com with happy face or use my contact me form)

I wish all my readers for Ielts exam. Do well .All the Best :)
